Athens Tae Kwon Do Center

In 1992, Master Master Chang Bae Yi co-founded the Athens Tae Kwon Do Center. Mr. Yi is a 6th Degree Black Belt and studies under Grandmaster Chung, a 9th Degree Black Belt who helped bring Tae Kwon Do to this country. With his extraordinary skill, ready wit, great patience, and gentle soul, Mr. Yi commands the respect and affection of all the members of the ATC family. He inspires all with his heartfelt motto: "You Can Do It!"

In 2007, Mr. Steve Carter and Mrs. Kathy Carter took over the ATC school and has been proud to continue the tradition started by Master Yi.  Mrs. Carter is a 4th Degree Black Belt and Mr. Carter is a 3rd Degree Black Belt who both trained and continue to learn under Master Yi.  With their combined skills and talents they focus on training their students to focus on the tenets of Tae Kwon Do in every class: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, and Indomitable Spirit.

Our school is located in the Alps shopping center across from Jittery Joes.  We always welcome visitors, so come check us out!  You are welcome to come watch a class and meet our instructors and students.
